Palantir posted a blowout Q2, with CEO Alex Karp calling it "otherworldly" on the back of AI sovereignty demand. Commercial revenue jumped 149% to $764 million, and Karp said the sovereign AI revolution makes them very optimistic about the future.

Caterpillar also beat Q2 expectations and raised its revenue growth guidance, pointing to strong equipment demand. The company also noted its full-year tariff cost outlook should land at the lower end of the previously expected range.

Other tech names followed Palantir higher. Micron Technology gained 4%, while Marvell Technology advanced 8%. $Palantir Technologies Inc.(PLTR)$  $Micron Technology(MU)$  $Marvell Technology(MRVL)$  $Caterpillar(CAT)$
