Micware (NASDAQ: MWC) announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with MulticoreWare.

MulticoreWare, despite being relatively lean compared to tech giants, carries high-profile industry relevance. The company is widely recognized for developing x265, the open-source video encoder library that standardizes modern HEVC video compression globally. Its customers include AMD $Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)$ , Microsoft $Microsoft(MSFT)$ , Google $Alphabet(GOOG)$ , Qualcomm $Qualcomm(QCOM)$  and Telestream.

Micware is a Japanese software company with Honda and Toyota as major stockholders. It currently trades at EV/EBITDA below 5 and a P/E around 8. Micware has long term contracts to provide auto software to Honda and Toyota, as well as Mazda U.S. and Daihatsu.
