Dell Technologies (DELL) surged 11.98% to $567.29 after upbeat demand signals for its AI servers. Leveraged semiconductor fund Direxion Daily SOXL jumped 5.23% to $121.82, while its bearish counterpart SOXS declined 5.56% to $44.14.
Among individual tech giants, Apple (AAPL) rose 1.75% to $332.27, Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) added 2.49% to $516.13, Intel (INTC) climbed 2.61% to $102.94, and Marvell Technology (MRVL) advanced 4.03% to $236.10. On the downside, storage maker SanDisk (SNDK) fell 3.50% to $1,633.35, while Oracle (ORCL) slipped 1.74% to $150.28 after earlier gains.
Semi-related exchange-traded products mirrored the sector’s swing. The broad-based Vanguard S&P 500 ETF (VOO) gained 0.85% to $702.56, whereas the ultra-leveraged Tradr 2X Long SNDK Daily ETF (SNXX) dropped 7.06% to $15.27. Mega-cap trackers SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust (SPY) added 0.85% to $764.29 and Invesco QQQ (QQQ) improved 0.87% to $714.88, underscoring the day’s broad technology-led recovery.
