Apple is heading into the iPhone 18 cycle with one big question:
Is demand actually stronger โ or is limited supply making it look that way?
Appleโs June-quarter iPhone revenue jumped 21.7% YoY to $54.25B, beating expectations. At the same time, Apple has warned that supply-chain constraints are becoming a bigger issue. ๏ฟผ
Some iPhone 18 Pro Max configurations have already moved to later delivery windows, although the overall launch has not shown the immediate sell-out seen in some previous launches. ๏ฟผ
That makes the next few weeks important.
๐ฑ Demand โ Are consumers upgrading?
๐ญ Supply โ Can Apple produce enough at current margins?
๐ฐ Margins โ Can Apple absorb higher component costs?
The interesting part for me isnโt simply whether the phones sell out.
Itโs whether Apple can turn strong iPhone demand + constrained supply into another earnings catalyst.
๐ Is $AAPL becoming a demand story or a supply story?
