Trendforce notes memory supply is still tight with no clear sign of easing. DRAM remains very tight at 20 weeks versus an 8-week balanced level, and shortages are limiting some NAND suppliers' ability to support enterprise SSD solutions.
Rising memory prices and tight supply are driving record results for Taiwan's two major memory makers. Nanya Technology and Winbond Electronics both posted record September revenue, extending a streak of more than 12 consecutive months of record monthly sales, while 3Q26 revenue also hit all-time highs.
Trendforce also points out DRAM suppliers keep prioritizing advanced-process capacity for high-performance server products, which constrains overall supply. Conventional DRAM contract prices are forecast to rise another +10% to +15% q/q in 4Q26, while NAND Flash contract prices are expected to increase +15% to +20%.
