1️⃣ Why am I making this trade now?
While the rest of the Magnificent 7 are largely trying to recover from recent downward pressure, Microsoft (MSFT) is standing out by bucking the trend and holding strong with an impressive gain of about one percent. When a mega-cap tech leader refuses to pull back alongside its peers and instead prints relative strength on the chart, it tells me that institutional buyers are actively defending the price and accumulating shares. I stepped into MSFT today to ride this distinct momentum because outperforming the broader tech sector during a recovery window signals a high-probability continuation setup.
### 2️⃣ What’s my plan from here?
My objective is to let the strength work in my favor while managing risk dynamically based on how the price action develops.
* **Holding/Adding:** I plan to hold this position tightly as long as MSFT maintains its relative outperformance against the rest of the Mag 7 and respects its short-term intraday support. If it continues to build a solid base above current levels, I'll look for tight consolidation zones to potentially add to the position.
* **Reassessing/Exiting:** I will reassess or exit immediately if the trend flips. If MSFT loses its relative strength, rolls over to match the weakness of the broader mega-cap basket, or breaks below its immediate intraday pivot lows, I will take my profit or cut the trade to protect capital.
