Can't say I agree with this article on $Grab Holdings(GRAB)$

Just my thoughts that I think the article didn't address adequately. In point form since I'm not a blogger/expert:

1. Grab is still cash burning after being the leader in Singapore. This is not a good sign, they are going transport, food delivery, groceries, fintech, parcel services, etc., and still burning cash.

2. Current quarter may be just a boost due to endemic working arrangement. More demand for PHVs because being of unable to transition eg late, still worried about covid, festives, increase in gatherings, etc. This boost may fizzle off given the inflation and incoming recession mentioned by the PM.

3. ESG as a platform only. It's equivalent to saying Hitler is a very good artist and not mentioning his crimes. The main carbon output would come from the PHVs in the road which will increase if Grab revenue do increase.

4. Competitiveness - I take grab sometimes (you are welcome, grab shareholders!). Oftenlynhear about the drivers complain on the incentive and the high margin that grab charges, coupled with the frequent surge in ride charges, I'm wondering if this is a sustainable model.

5. More women in power is always a good thing as they bring their values and also being the more intellectual of the 2 genders. However, culture should permeate through the entire ecosystem, I hope they attract more female drivers but giving them more incentives.

In my opinion, based the present factors, I do not see value in Grab in the long term. At the current price, I would prefer to put my money in $WILMAR INTERNATIONAL LIMITED(F34.SI)$ or $CapitaLandInves(9CI.SI)$for a more sustainable growth.

Maybe we should be optimistic, after all, the company's fundamentals are improving.

Grab still carries a decent amount of risk at the moment.
