$Barrick Gold Corp(GOLD)$  is my most watchedstock in 2022. Barrick Gold Corporation, based in Toronto, Canada, is the largest gold mining company in the world. The company has many advanced exploration and development projects located across five continents. GOLD is in my watchlist because of its impressive earnings and valuation fundamentals. My top friends in Tiger Community are @luv2trade while my most profitable trade is $Occidental(OXY)$ :

My mosr view stock in 2022 -$Costco(COST)$ . Costco’s business model is one that should thrive during good times, when consumers have extra money in their pockets to spend, and bad times, when they shift focus to saving cash and hunting for deals. The retailer is known for offering some of the best products at some of the best prices. The catch? Costco charges an annual fee that, I estimate, accounts for over half of the company’s operating profit. Costco is, therefore, a rare case of non-tech company that runs a subscription model. The recurring revenue flow coupled with the countercyclical features of the business makes COST a good stock to own through a period of economic contraction and/or lingering inflation. My most viewed stock in 2022 is $Amazon.com(AMZN)$ .Amazon finished the year down a shocking 50% and 55% below the peak levels of July 2021, trading now below the worst of the COVID-19 crisis. There were plenty of good reasons for investors to be spooked and sell Amazon shares in droves last year. Amazon invested heavily in e-commerce and cloud during the pandemic, but it now has to deal with the negative effects of a bloated infrastructure. Labor and energy costs have climbed sharply, dinging Amazon’s margins. In an environment of rising rates and red-hot inflation, growth stocks like Amazon tend to perform particularly poorly. Nonetheless, Amazon at a market cap of only $850 billion will ultimately prove

My most viewed stock in 2022 is $Microsoft(MSFT)$ .I do not yet own Microsoft. But I intend to invest in it. Microsoft may not be the cheapest company around. The company's premium is 100% justified given its AAA credit rating. Its yield is low, and you're paying a high multiple for earnings, but those earnings are also set to grow at the sort of pace that could see your money increase in value by 77% in less than 3 years. It's hard to compare Microsoft to anything, or to call the world's leading OS/software company "risky". There's too much of a moat here, and a market share to really say anything negative. I wouldn't call Microsoft one of the most undervalued or cheapest businesses to buy, but I would cal

My 2022 Recap: Did Nothing!?

I was expecting a decline in my overall portfolio value (cash and cash equivalents excluding fixed assets) when I was tabulating the constituents of my investments using cash, CPF and SRS funds on equities, unit trusts and fixed income securities. As I have to extract information from various sources, I would only undertake the compilation at the beginning of every year to review my performance in the previous year. Lo and behold! I’m pleasantly astonished that my portfolio value actually increased from a year ago when I had expected a reduction. I re-checked my Excel spreadsheet just to ensure that I had not summed erroneously. Nope, I had not mistaken a subtraction for an addition sign. Even though my portfolio had grown by merely a single digit percentage, I’m still glad that it has pr

$Tiger Brokers(TIGR)$  Put all eggs in a basket, ended up loosing more than ~90% of my investment. The number is not enormous but I've learnt a valuable lesson and will do better in 2023
