Pop Mart Falling: New Series On the Way, Bottom or Not?

Pop Mart announced this week that it expects its revenue for the first half of 2025 to increase by no less than 200% year-over-year, and its net profit to grow by no less than 350% year-over-year. However, the stock has continued to decline since the announcement. Tomorrow, Pop Mart is set to release a new Crybaby series called "ShinyShiny." Do you believe other IPs can continue to grow? Is this sharp drop a dip-buying opportunity?

$POP MART(09992)$ continues its hypergrowth (106.9% YoY revenue increases) and expand globally with youth cult-like appeal. Its sustainable IP incubation capabilities propelled it to a super-league toy creator/ retailer. Thanks @Tiger_SG

$Pop Mart International Group Limited(POPMF)$  (9992.HK): Bubble About to Pop, or IP Incubator with Disney-like Potential? 1. The Bull Case – More Than Just Toys. Pop Mart isn't simply riding the “Labubu mania.” What many overlook is that the company is actively building a multi-IP entertainment platform with licensing optionality. IPs like Skullpanda, Crybaby, Hirono, and Dimoo are early-stage assets with potential for monetisation via: Animated series (already underway in mainland China) Mobile games (early pipeline visible) Global retail footprint (Pop Mart stores now in 20+ countries) Think of it as Funko meets Marvel, but at an earlier, less-discovered phase. 2. The Bear Case – Froth and FOMO. Recent price action reflects classic signs

there is a cycle to every  trend or product. When the magnitude of following exploded, everybody chase. When the tide retreats, its when everyone realised that it's time to move on. A dream to own a trending product will never extinct. It's a emotional feeling inside everyone. POP mart is for the future trending. Get the beats going forward by owing one is a must like owning a car or a favourite shirt or shoes. POP mart will be growing even stronger if it knows how to capture the world market(human desire)

Bubble obviously… waiting to pop… Pop Mart is a concept that will only take off when the economy is doing well. When recession finally arrives to China and US, essential items like food on the table would be the priority. Occasionally, you might reward yourselves with a cup of bubble tea, etc. Will we still go and buy a Labubu? I doubt so. The rise of Pop Mart also symbolises the rise of the culture of excesses and wants. Yes, the founder has turned those toys 🧸 into “collectible art toys”, however unlike for example a Rolex, one could have replicated those toys 🧸 easily. Having said that, the time is not now when the economy is still in its Goldilocks moment. The time will come when all these come crashing down and people will find out that there’s no one left to buy their “beloved” Labub

Trends will come and go. If you can make a short term trade and get out at the right time then definitely some good profits to be made

Labubu Mania: Pop Mart’s Defiant Rise—Bubble About to Pop or Empire in the Making?

Everyone’s obsessed with Labubu, and Pop Mart’s cashing in big time. While other hotshot consumer stocks on the Hong Kong exchange—like bubble tea darling Nayuki or fitness app Keep—shot up to new highs only to stumble back down, Pop Mart’s holding strong. Its blind-box empire, led by the mischievous Labubu and backed by rising stars like Crybaby, Skullpanda, and Hirono, has turned toys into a goldmine. But when every influencer, investor, and auntie on WeChat is chasing the same trend, the old Wall Street adage kicks in: “When everyone’s in, it’s time to get out.” So, is Pop Mart’s bubble primed to burst, or does its IP wizardry still have legs? Let’s break it down. The Labubu Effect: Hype Machine in Overdrive Labubu isn’t just a toy—it’s a cultural juggernaut. From Thai princesses paradi

People are crazy buying labubu and drinks shares
“HK Consumer F4”—Pop Mart, Maogeping, Mixue, and Lao Pu Gold—are rising stars but lame in my opinion. Flash in the pans waiting to burn fingers. Buy better companies please. These hypes don't do well in financial downturn unfortunately. Not solid enough and lame. @LULU ROCKET  @JiaDeName

🐉 HK F4: Bravery or Bagholding in 2025? 🚨 Once the crowd piles in, parabolic charts become fragile. Don’t confuse momentum with invincibility. I’ve seen too many retail rushes turn into rug pulls. 🧠 Personally, I booked partial profits in Lao Pu last week — happy to let the rest ride with a stop. These names are great sentiment plays, but valuations are now stretched. If you’re jumping in now, have an exit plan. 📌 My strategy: Don’t be the last one at the party. Momentum’s fun… until it turns. Rotate gains, trail stops, and don’t overstay the hype cycle.

Hong Kong’s consumer sector is lighting up 2025, and the “HK Consumer F4”—Pop Mart, Maogeping, Mixue, and Lao Pu Gold—are the stars of the show. These powerhouses have smashed through to new highs, with Lao Pu Gold, freshly minted as the “King of HK IPOs,” stealing the spotlight. Its stock blasted to an eye-popping HK$1015 before easing back, still boasting a colossal 300% year-to-date surge.
