Tigers have shared Singapore-listed companies that are benefiting from the recovery of the Chinese market. Do you see this as a good opportunity? Do you have any recommendations for high-dividend stocks?

$DFIRG USD(D01.SI)$  if the sale goes through, bottom line will be lifted by Usd50m easily. Avoid share of loss from associate and save on interest expense. Should have sold long ago. This deal is significant relative to its market cap but strangely the market reaction is so muted, testament to it being a cold stock with little insti involvement. If you are looking for a potential 8+% yield with jackpot at the end, this is it!

Another high dividend stock to share is $ST Engineering(S63.SI)$ as they are doing military stuff and other innovations project. Singapore government support. Is good to invest in them. Recent update: Digital Health Solutions, ST Engineering has partnered with Philips to provide advanced digital health solutions in the Asia Pacific region. ST Engineering has been awarded a contract to upgrade the signaling system for the Sydney Metro Northwest railway line in Australia.

🎉 Congratulations to Tigers that made big profits on Singapore stocks. Singapore stocks are relatively less volatile as compared to the U.S. stocks. Many Singapore stocks are known for their stable dividends, especially the blue-chip companies and REITs. Thanks @TigerClub

$Straits Times Index(STI.SI)$   Components consist to make this 2 index have different perspective and goals with different profiles of investors.  When type of investors prefer low volatility on capital appreciation but earn stable dividend then seems STI.SI would more justifiably option. There are opposite objectives from above, which investors more look for capital appreciation with high volatility then S&P 500 index would be more suitable with this thinking. Probably balancing between these 2 index when do investment could be considered, following investor age when get older the choice more weight in stable index like STI.SI better [Smile] . Any comments and thoughts welcome for discussion [Miser]
