I think it has to voice down to the type of stocks you are holding. If they have bottom and you are DCA to your stocks, then it is a good buy as when it bounces, you will be making a huge profit. For me, I will buy when I feel comfortable about the price - irrespective if it is downtrend or uptrend. You are your own boss and you are in control of your trading. As long as the overall portfolio is in green, I will be happy. Just like last Friday, I bought$UOB(U11.SI)$. To others, it might be overvalued. But for me, I m willing to pay for it as my average cost is still in green. 🍀🤑
I m bullish on $Keppel DC Reit(AJBU.SI)$ as I am holding xxxxx units. Incidently, I love Data Centres so much that I m also holding xxxxx units of $Mapletree Ind Tr(ME8U.SI)$. MIT units more than KDC. 🫣🤭🤫 Anyway, today my hand is very itchy that I bought $UOB(U11.SI)$. 🤭. I m still working towards my 2025 KPI - SG dividends $36K. Taking last year dividends payout as an estimation, I have achieved $36K if I will to combine dividends from stocks using SRS. If excludes SRS, I yet to achieve my KPI target. Anyway, I still have 8months to achieve it and the gap between $UOB(U11.SI)$ units vs <
🤦♀️🤭😱🙄😵💫😳😂 a simple statement of 3 days trip to a place where I can see flowers and mountain. The weather must not be too hot or too cold. 😱a lengthy reply. My “manifesto” for Labour Day. 🤣🤣 I bet nobody can beat the lengthy reply by Tiger AI. @MHh @Universe宇宙 @Wayneqq @melson @ELI_59 @HelenJanet @bernardtayet 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
A very good question! I m sitting on the fence as DT is going through andropause. His mood swing is worst than women’s menopause. If you are comfortable with the pricing, just go in and grab the stocks. Otherwise, question yourself if you are able to stomach further downfall. Hence when it comes to stocks, there are no right or wrong decision. Instead, it is buy, hold or sell.
I m 1st n 3rd type when it comes to stocks whereas 2nd type for UT. 🤭 I held my U.S. ESPP for more than 10 years. I sold some but forgotten to sell it ATH in 2021. My HNW friend reminded me but maybe that time I was trying to nurse back my health from adverse reactions of Pfizer jab that I overlooked it. Thereafter, I m trying to sell but my desired price didn’t strike. As long as I manage to sell them before I m too sick and bring down the total amount to be less than USD 60K, then I will be safe to avoid U.S. estate tax. Otherwise, my will administrator or executor will be in trouble. The lawyer fees will “eat” up my U.S. stocks.
Replying to @MHh:Same over here 🤝🤝//@MHh:I definitely prefer Keppel dc reit although it is more focused on data centres. In the longer term, I believe the need for data centres will grow with increased focus on data, AI and technology for all things. Yet, land is limited in Singapore and I don’t think we will see many more data centres being built. Limited supply with increased demand is good for Keppel DC. Till that day comes, I will be happy collecting dividends which beats any fixed deposit @Kaixiang @Fenger1188
If it is not due to my “hangover” from my endoscopy (which I m still suffering 😠😤😡🤬.. long GA.. coming to 2 weeks.), I would have taken the opportunity or seize the chance. Unfortunately, I m very hot tempered (gave my IT folks a good scolding when they tried to smoke me) or unstable at the moment. Hence, I will give the current opportunity a miss. Nursing back my health is my utmost priority now. Glad I have an understanding boss that I only started work at 10am this morning. I WFH. 😅🤭😂. @MHh @melson @HelenJanet @Wayneqq
I will be staying home and be a couched potato. Cracking my head on how to get ride of the unreasonable anaesthetic that is still in my body since last Thursday, 10April endoscopy. 😠😤😡🤬🤕😵💫😓. Anyway, my brain has not been functioning well since Monday. Any email I sent out, I will recall back after a few minutes and update with the latest or correct info. . I m glad I pre-warn my boss and the team. Hence, they need to forgive me for my wrongdoings or retarded replies.
You will feel the difference only when you are travelling. If you don’t travel, then whatever you are buying, it is still SGD. The other difference is if you are holding a huge amount of US stocks. That’s what happened to my ESPP . 😭😭😭.
I m waiting to buy xxxx units $ocbc bank(O39.SI)$ so as to have it the same units as $UOB(U11.SI)$. But past few days, brain 🤯🤕😵💫. Waiting for my IV to weave off from my body before I go hunting.
I neither stop watching nor stop sleeping as the IV I had last Thursday for my endoscopy is still in my body 😠😤😡🤬🤕😓🤯😭😵💫. I think I m allergy to the IV as I still suffering dizziness, floating in the air and low blood pressure. It is like the adverse reactions of Pfizer Covid jab. . 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬. No wonder people tend to say you will be very high when you are on drugs. I don’t like the feeling. It is very scary as you might just faint or hurt yourself. another drug into my allergy list. 🤕🥺😢😭 Hence since last Thursday, I stop making major decisions. Instead, thinking of ways to get ride of the IV in my body. 😠😤😡🤬
It is neither here nor there.. it is like a roller coaster ride or sine or cosine graph . What goes up must come down! You must have a strong heart to sustain such volatility or getting into roller coaster. Hence, there is always a signboard before boarding the roller coaster. Please do not get onto the roller coaster ride if you have heart issue ie weak heart. 🫀🫀. @Wayneqq @melson @HelenJanet @MHh
In my case, “to rob peter to pay paul”.. overall, my stocks from SG market & US market are still in profits. If I will to break into individual stock, then it might be a different story. But my UTs are in a loss. Anyway, UTs yet to recover from pre-Covid period. 🤭😂😅😇 Anyway, just keep calm 🧘♀️🧘♀️. I m waiting at the fence to fire for SG stocks. Not much confidence in US stocks unless some miracles happen. As there is a saying for US stocks, you win and lose BIG. Whereas, SG stocks are like a tortoise 🐢. Slow and steady. If you catch at the right moment, you will also have a pot of gold. I prefer slow and steady like the tortoise 🐢. @MHh @melson
I don’t trade or invest in Telsa. But I m a long term investor for SG market. Nobody is able to predict the trend of the stocks. For me, once I have the money to “burn”, I will just go in and “conquer”. Of course, I will do my TA and then will do my cost per each unit before I q my price for the stock. Sometimes, the downtrend price movement is so fast that I don’t have sufficient time to pull out my queue. I will end up like panda 🐼🐼. . This was what happened to me last month with $Mapletree Ind Tr(ME8U.SI)$. Black eyes for both cash & SRS. But now I have the final laugh 😂🤭 to the bank. Anyway, this month yet to SG stocks hunting as my mind is still floating after 2 weeks vacation and attended charity appreciation dinner last night.
“You raised me up”…”how long will I love you”… My last night in Almaty. Friday, 21 Mar was their new year. Hence there was a carnival where they will showcase their food, handicraft and their local musical instruments. These 2 pretty ladies caught my eyes. Their beauty is beyond my description. They offered me sparkling water and fizzy orange drink. The flavours were so familiar. As if I m already back to SG. @MHh @melson @ELI_59 @Wayneqq @JoeLeong @Universe宇宙
