Am holding net short positions on RCL and this is an attempt to cover back the short at lower levels. Had sold some RCL at $275 to cash out when the price is high and trading with the idea that it might retrace to lower levels. Setting strike at $255 was meant to be assigned at reasonable probability instead of selling to avoid assignment.

$ANF 20250627 90.0 CALL$ ANF: Collect 1.2% premium in this covered call with strike at $90. Contract expires in 3 weeks on 27th June. Current trade is replacement trade when the last one expires last Fri with strike at $85. Did raise the strike to $90 for this call to reflect higher price and while still maintain some margin of safety and allow stock to rise and yet not getting assigned. The 6 days of very bearish reversals after earnings on 28th May had cast a long shadow on the stock. Dropping from $105 to current levels of $82. Will take a while to recover so I think $90 strike should be sufficient buffer for the coming 3 weeks with earnings out of the way.

$SMCI 20250703 50.0 CALL$ SMCI: collect 1.8% premium on these covered calls with strike at $50. That's an increased over last strike selected at $45 and previously at $40. This shows slight trending up on the stock price and that's good news based off my holdings. Contract expires in 4 weeks on 3rd July. SMCI had show some signs of steady accumulation thought the trade volume remains much lower that before. The rise should be attributed to the general bullishness in the market and also the semiconductor counters in the past few weeks and I won't be counting that SMCI itself will carry it own weighs to rise further in the absence of positive catalyst. Volatile remained really low, despite that tariffs talks were hardly closed. Unsure if the market is pricing the risk effectively but I'm sure market is always right.
