$HOOD DIAGONAL 250718/250801 CALL 85.0/CALL 87.0$ HOOD: managing a losing trade. Had shorted HOOD few weeks back through short calls and run the risk of getting assigned when HOOD broke out to the up side on very bullish crypto market and other bullish catalyst. Decided to roll out further by 2 weeks to buy more time, and higher strike by $2 to $87 to allow some upward adjustment. Realistically at some point if the stock keep rising, then I will decide to close and take loss and move on.

$Microsoft(MSFT)$ I added to my Microsoft position, confident in its diverse revenue engines—spanning Azure, Xbox, LinkedIn, Windows, and AI. In just nine months of fiscal 2025, MSFT generated nearly $94B in operating cash flow. Despite returning over $32B to shareholders via dividends and buybacks, it still holds a war chest of nearly $80B. This financial strength fuels continued shareholder rewards, including a 10% dividend hike and a $60B buyback plan. Microsoft's balance of growth, profitability, and capital returns makes it a long-term compounder.
