TSMC Blows Expectations Away! 53.3% YoY Growth On Explosive AI Demand

$Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing(TSM)$’s latest August sales data came in well above market expectations, with revenue surging 53.3% year-over-year. The strong print fully reflects the persistent and robust demand for AI computing power. According to the official sales report, TSMC generated NT$514.8 billion in revenue in August, rising 53.3% YoY and 10.1% month-over-month, beating consensus estimates comfortably. Cumulative sales for the first eight months of 2026 grew 39.3% YoY, maintaining strong double-digit growth driven largely by booming AI chip orders. A Cup of Water on a Burning Cartload: Yields Hit a New High and Meta Rose 6.55 Per Cent the Same Day

On Wednesday $S&P 500(.SPX)$ closed 0.48 per cent lower, its third session in a row heading down. $Meta Platforms, Inc.(META)$ rose 6.55 per cent the same day to close at US$653.69. The whole market was backing away while one of the largest companies in it put on six and a half points, and those look like two unrelated things. They are one thing. What is holding the indexes down is rates: Brent crude moved back above US$100 for the first time in two months, the inflation print lands on Friday, the ten-year Treasury yield was pushed to 4.85 per cent and the thirty-year broke above 5.30 per cent. The Treasury stepped in that day and raised the cap on its buybacks of ten-

TOPShyon: For me, the key is whether $Oracle(ORCL)$ can turn its huge AI backlog into real revenue and cash flow. A $638 billion backlog sounds impressive, but it means little if execution cannot keep up with the capital spending required. I would watch cloud growth, AI demand, contract wins and especially free cash flow. If Oracle shows that AI investments are starting to generate stronger cash returns, I would be more comfortable investing behind the backlog. I also want to see whether management can maintain strong growth without continuously increasing its spending burden. I remain bullish on AI infrastructure long term, but I do not want to chase the story based on backlog alone. I want the numbers to prove it first. If the results are strong, I would rather accumulate gradually than chase a big post-earnings spike. @Tiger_comments @TigerClub @TigerStars @Marktomarket

Apple Finally Folds: Can the $1,999 iPhone Duo Reignite the iPhone Upgrade Cycle?

For nearly two decades, the iPhone has remained recognisably the same object: a flat slab of glass that became faster, brighter and more capable with every generation. On September 9, $Apple(AAPL)$ finally broke that formula. The iPhone Duo is Apple’s first foldable smartphone and arguably its biggest hardware redesign since the iPhone X. Closed, it offers a compact 5.4-inch outer display; unfold it and the device becomes a 7.6-inch screen, the largest ever on an iPhone. It starts at US$1,999, with pre-orders opening October 16 and availability beginning October 23. For consumers, the story is about whether a folding iPhone is worth almost US$2,000. For investors, the question is bigger: can Apple turn foldables from a niche experi

🔮 Meta’s Muse: The $30 Trillion AI-Agent Opportunity Wall Street Isn’t Pricing In

$Meta Platforms, Inc.(META)$’s new AI agent could push the company beyond advertising and content — and Morgan Stanley sees Muse as a major upside opportunity that may not yet be fully priced in. $Meta Platforms, Inc.(META)$ jumped 6.55% to $653.69 on September 9 after unveiling Muse, even as the S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite fell 0.48% and 0.64%, respectively. The reason? Muse could turn Meta from a platform that helps consumers discover things into one that helps them decide and act — opening the door to the emerging $30 trillion AI-agent economy. 1.From Chatbot to AI Agent Most generative AI tools have historically been built around answering questions. Muse is design
🔮 Meta’s Muse: The $30 Trillion AI-Agent Opportunity Wall Street Isn’t Pricing In
TOP苏36: If I had to pick today, I'd chooseC - both, but with a slight edge to the goal. The bigger opportunity isn't simply building a smarter chatbot. It's turning AI into anexecution layer between consumer intent and transactions. Muse could eventually search, compare, book, purchase and complete tasks on a user's behalf. Google, meanwhile, already controls a huge amount of commercial intent through Search and Gemini. META's biggest advantage is distribution: billions of users already live inside its ecosystem. But I wouldn't mistake Morgan Stanley's $30T opportunity estimate for $30T of revenue. The real investment test isadoption → retention → frequency → transactions → monetization. If Muse becomes habitual, META could unlock a powerful new business model. If not, it remains an expensive option. So my view:META for upside, GOOGL for resilience, and both for exposure to the long-term agentic-AI shift. @AI_FocusedTrader [龇牙]

⚡ Power Surge: AI Demand Sparks Clean Energy & Nuclear Rally

Hey tigers! 👋🐯 If you blinked on Tuesday, you might have missed it — clean energy and nuclear names caught fire across the board. Several stocks across nuclear and clean-energy themes popped 9% or more in a single session. Was it random? Not even close. Let's break down what's really moving this market. 🔌 ⚡Power Is the New AI Bottleneck Forget chip shortages. Power availability is emerging as one of the biggest bottlenecks for AI data-center expansion. Some industry forecasts put global data center electricity demand around 1,000 TWh by 2030 — more than the entire national consumption of France or the UK. In the U.S., PJM capacity prices in Ohio have hit roughly 10x historical levels as grid capacity struggles to keep up. This reality has shifted the investment thesis. Hyperscalers — Micro
⚡ Power Surge: AI Demand Sparks Clean Energy & Nuclear Rally
TOPLanceljx: I favour the uranium supply chain for durability. AI data centres may accelerate nuclear demand, but uranium benefits from the broader reactor fleet and fuel-security needs, rather than depending on any single SMR design reaching commercial scale. BE is interesting because fuel cells can address the nearer-term problem: data centres need reliable power before new nuclear plants can realistically arrive. SMR offers the biggest upside if deployments scale, but also the greatest execution, financing and regulatory risk. So I see it as: uranium for the durable structural thesis, BE for nearer-term AI power demand, and SMR as the higher-risk optionality. Given the sector's high beta, I would expect plenty of momentum-driven volatility even if the long-term power-demand thesis remains intact.
