TSMC Just Raised AI Spending. These 6 Stocks Target the Bottlenecks Beyond Chips
🚨 AI’s Next Bottleneck Is Bigger Than Chips $Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing(TSM)$ just delivered record Q2 profit, raised 2026 capex to $60–$64B, and committed another $100B to U.S. chip production. CEO C.C. Wei says conviction in the multi-year AI megatrend remains very high. But here’s the bigger picture: 🧠 AI infrastructure is becoming a full-stack buildout. The bottleneck is no longer just silicon. 🔹 $Broadcom(AVGO)$ — Custom Silicon Hyperscalers are building chips optimized for their own workloads. Broadcom sits at the intersection of custom accelerators and the networking that connects them. 🔹 $Arista Networks(ANET)$ — Networking Thousands of processor
$Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)$ AMD just hit $1T market cap — and my position is flying Holding AMD through this run has been one of my better calls. The stock recently crossed the $1 trillion market-cap mark for the first time, trading around the $630 level after a strong multi-day surge. Year-to-date it’s up roughly 180-195%. That’s the kind of move that turns solid positions into serious gains. What’s driving it is simple and measurable: • Data center revenue more than doubled year-over-year in the latest reported quarter (to about $6.7B). • Overall company revenue grew ~50%. • Demand for EPYC CPUs and Instinct accelerators from hyperscalers and AI customers continues to accelerate. Management has guided for data center to more than double a
$VanEck Semiconductor ETF(SMH)$ Success in the markets doesn’t come from doing things occasionally. It comes from doing the right thing consistently. Continue to DCA into chips💪
Two strong names. Two very different setups. 🟢 $Costco(COST)$ — Rebuilding Momentum The bullish engulfing candle reclaimed the 5, 10 and 20-day moving averages, with the move coming after earnings and from oversold conditions. No gap. No obvious chase. That gives the setup a cleaner recovery + risk-reward profile. 🔵 $Meta Platforms, Inc.(META)$ — Managing Momentum Meta has already made the breakout. Now the signals are telling a different story: price has breached the upper Bollinger Band, while RSI and MFI are showing overbought conditions. That doesn’t automatically invalidate the trend. It simply raises the odds of consolidation after the breakout. 🔄 The common thread: Both are showing strong underlyi
⚠️ This Is What a Downward Spiral Looks Like Growth depends on debt. Debt gets more expensive → the stock falls → equity becomes a weaker backstop → but growth still requires more spending → so you borrow more → and financing gets even more expensive. 🔄 That’s the spiral. $Oracle(ORCL)$ is now at the center of this debate. 🦔 Its 5-year CDS spread reportedly hit 230 bps, more than 4× the broader investment-grade index at 55 bps and dramatically higher than a year ago. At the same time, Oracle is committing massive amounts of capital to AI infrastructure. 💰 The key question isn’t simply whether AI demand is real. It’s whether the expected growth can generate enough cash flow to support the debt required to fund it. 📉 S&P’s BBB- rating leaves onl
From Leaders to Laggards: Is Memory Waiting on Micron? Memory gave back Tuesday's gains on Wednesday. SanDisk fell 3.73%, SK Hynix 3.12% and Micron 2.22%. The selling carried on into Thursday's pre-market, then all three bounced on Friday as oil eased after the Trump–Xi meeting. They fell together and bounced together, so this is one trade, not three. The real test is Micron's report after the close on September 30, which is about 4 AM on October 1 in Singapore. Wall Street expects $50.91 billion in revenue and $31.49 in earnings per share. Management guided about 86% gross margin, but also said price increases are moderating. The quarter also has 14 weeks, one more than usual. Bull case: 16 take-or-pay contracts lock in about $100 billion through 2030. HBM4 has already shipped over $1 bil
👟 NKE: THE COMEBACK TRADE NOBODY WANTS TO TALK ABOUT?
One stock I’m watching is $Nike(NKE)$ . The setup is pretty simple: the world’s biggest sportswear brand has been struggling, and the market has become increasingly impatient. Nike reports fiscal Q1 earnings on October 1, with consensus around $0.44 EPS and $11.3B revenue. But the interesting part isn’t the earnings estimate. It’s whether Nike can finally show signs that the turnaround is working. 👟 China is the big question. Greater China sales fell 17% on a constant-currency basis in Nike’s most recent quarter, making the region one of the biggest problems management needs to address. 🇺🇸 Then there’s North America. Wholesale revenue has been growing, but that hasn’t translated into overall sales growth. That raises an uncomfortable
