$OXY 20261016 75.0 CALL$ Occidental Petroleum (OXY) — Recent Bullish vs. Bearish News Bottom line: The recent news flow on Occidental Petroleum (OXY) watchlist skews mildly constructive on the analyst side — Goldman Sachs upgraded the stock to Buy and two other houses raised price targets — but the stock has not followed through, sitting at $57.95 on 2026-10-05, roughly flat versus the level it jumped to on the upgrade day. The bull case rests on sell-side re-rating and a low headline multiple; the bear case rests on the fact that the shares have stalled despite the upgrades and on the absence of any fresh positive operating catalyst until Q3 results in November.

$CDE 20261023 15.0 PUT$ Coeur Mining (CDE) — Recent Bullish vs Bearish News Bottom line: The news flow is split. The bullish case rests on a sharp H1 2026 earnings beat and exploration upside at newly acquired assets; the bearish case is that the stock has already run hard off its 52-week low, is now 18.7% below its level 20 days ago, and sits in the lower quartile of its 52-week range — momentum has cooled even as fundamentals improved.

$APLD 20261009 20.0 PUT$ APLD — Recent Bullish vs. Bearish News Bottom line: The news flow over the past two months skews constructive on the operational side (capacity coming online, bullish analyst initiations) but cautious on the financial side — the company is still loss-making, and the upcoming earnings print (2026-10-07) is expected to show revenue growth alongside a wider loss. The stock is a high-beta AI-infrastructure name where the bull case rests on contracted capacity and the bear case on execution, funding and dilution.

$APLD 20261009 20.0 PUT$ APLD — Recent Bullish vs. Bearish News Conclusion: The recent news flow on Applied Digital (APLD) watchlist is genuinely two-sided. The bullish side rests on real operational delivery (75 MW of new AI capacity energized on 2026-10-02) and a fresh sell-side endorsement (Wells Fargo Top Idea, USD 50 target). The bearish side is structural: the company is still loss-making, the stock sits near the bottom of its 52-week range, and there are persistent signals of insider selling and share issuance. Net, the news mix is constructive on execution but the equity remains a high-beta, unprofitable AI-infrastructure story.

$SPCX VERTICAL 261016 CALL 150.0/CALL 160.0$ SPCX: take profit. This bull call spread of $150/$160 was setup on 17th Sept and to expire in a month on 16th Oct. The target profit was set at 70% more than premium paid and that was achieved today with 11 days till expiry.  SPCX seemed to have a very bullish tail wind since last Friday after news of itsl leasing its GPU compute power to both Google and Anthropic and collected decent cash monthly that investors like the news.  For me, happy to be at the right side of the trade news and be able to profit from it.

Gave it 2 months till 20th Nov to realise its bearish potential.  That scenario didn't happen and the subsequent 2 weeks CSCO turned and broke higher across multiple moving averages.  While not entirely in bullish territory, my original thesis was broken and I've decide to take a 50% premium loss rather than waiting out on a hope.  Live to trade another day.

Thread Title: The Execution Blueprint Exact Rules for Trading High-Volume Breakouts

1. The Pre-Condition: Tight Consolidation at Resistance Never chase a breakout that has already stretched 5 green candles in a row. The highest probability breakouts happen after price compresses tightly right against a resistance ceiling, forming higher lows into the level. This build-up traps short sellers and coils price like a spring before the big move. 2. The Confirmation Trigger: Candle Close + Volume Spike Do not buy mid-candle while price is poking above resistance—that is how retail traders get trapped in fakeouts. Wait for the breakout candle to close completely above the key level, backed by a volume bar at least 1.5x to 2x higher than recent average volume. High volume proves big institutional market orders are funding the move. 3. Two Valid Entry Tactics: Aggressive Close vs

$FSLR 20261009 220.0 CALL$  1️⃣ Why am I making this trade now? Closing the sell call for 0.01. Probably not worth it as its way out of the money and likely to expire anyway. But i prefer to do it as the strike of the call is way lower than what i have purchased the shares for previously at 250. I would rather pay pennies in case volatility cause this to gain higher in the coming few days to expiry. Flipped a coin and result was to close lol. 2️⃣ What's my plan from here? Depending on how the movement goes from here, will open another covered call to gain back the loss i have on the underlying shares in holding. And it also frees up the obligation needed. Looking to sell off these shares anyway.

US Reports show US Economy’s unevenness.

I confess. I have not been sharing US weekly economic reports for the past 2 weeks. There are 2 main reasons: It takes a lot of time to read (with comprehension) and then compile them into a concise post to share. I seemed to get the idea that most readers are not that ‘interested’ in such post (from myself), based on the ‘likes’ & ‘reposts’ responses for my weekly effort. However, seeing my post dated 28 Sep 2026 (for previous week’s economic reports released) on the weekly chart, I decided to soldier on, despite it not being well received. So here I am sharing the US economic reports out the week before and they are mainly ‘jobs’ reports. Jobs Opening and Labour Turnover surveys (JOLTs). The JOLTs for August 2026 was released on Tue, 29 Sep 2026. The US Bureau of Labor Statistics (BL

$AAPL VERTICAL 261016 PUT 315.0/PUT 312.5$ 1️⃣ Why am I making this trade now? AAPL is up 22.45% over the past 12 months and sits at the 87.8th percentile of its 52-week range, but the short-term trend has flattened — the stock is down 1.63% over 5 days and essentially unchanged over the past month (−0.04%).  2️⃣ What’s my plan from here? The medium-term structure remains constructive (price above its 20/30-day moving averages), while short-term oscillators have rolled over. POLL>>🪙 | 💰 10 US Stocks Hit New Highs: NVDA, TSM, CRWD, FTNT, MPC,...
TOP苏36: The AI Rally Is Getting Broader — and That Matters The most interesting signal from these new all-time highs isn't simply thatNVDA, TSM and LITEThey are rallying. It's that the AI investment cycle is spreading beyond GPUs intooptical networking, cybersecurity, HVAC and electronic testing. The Nasdaq just closed at another record high, even with the 10-year Treasury yield around 5.3%. That makesLITE and KEYSespecially interesting to watch: they are less obvious AI plays, but benefit as data centers become larger and more complex. Meanwhile, Nvidia's $150 billion additional buyback—bringing total authorization to $235 billion—shows just how much cash the AI leader is generating. My takeaway: **don't only chase the headline AI names. The bigger opportunity may be in the "picks and shovels" underneath the AI boom.** @TigerPicks [财迷]
