📊 Market Recap As of the close on October 13, 2026, 'SOXL' finished at $128.40, a sharp decline of -8.13% (-$11.36). The ETF closed just above its intraday low of $127.27 and remains approximately 57.5% below its 52-week high of $302.00, reflecting intense selling pressure in the semiconductor sector. Pre-market indications of $134.30 failed to hold, with heavy selling dominating the session. 🚀 Key Drivers Semiconductor Momentum Collapse: The 3x leveraged structure of 'SOXL' amplified downside moves as underlying semiconductor indices faced a risk-off environment, erasing recent gains. Leverage Decay & Volatility: With a daily amplitude of 5.20% and heavy turnover (36.65%), the fund experienced accelerated NAV erosion typical of high-beta instruments during drawdowns. Earnings Season Guess: No Big Move Up or Down

Back from the holiday, everything had changed. Sector rotation has reached semiconductors, which are now bleeding to feed tech giants and bank stocks. The bearish turn was very sudden. From a pure chart-reading view, it means the part that jumped the gun in September gives back its gains, and then the stocks that didn't rise in September should rise. Of course, as some fall and others rise, the overall market keeps chopping higher near its highs. With that idea, this week's two big earnings reports could look very different: financial stocks may bounce after earnings, while TSMC is more likely to keep drifting near lows after its report. I won't pretend anymore: I peeked at the answer key. Before earnings, big sell put orders showed up in financial stocks, like

$LLY 20270115 1140.0 CALL$ Traded the technicals on Eli Lilly ($LLY) after tracking its massive intraday swings over the last few weeks. We’ve seen single-session expansions as high as 5.17% (a massive ~$60 range), which opens up incredible short-term windows if you time the entries right. The Strategy: * The Entry: Waited patiently for the share price to dip down toward the support side of its current ascending channel. * The Exit: Locked in profits cleanly as soon as the price bounced and hit key overhead resistance EMAs. In and out in just 2 days. When a high-beta large-cap moves this fast, sticking strictly to the daily levels makes for a highly tactical—and exciting—trade. On to the next setup!

$OCBC Bank(O39.SI)$ OCBC Pulled Back 6% — I Am Using the Dip to Add Today was a painful session for OCBC(O39.SI), with the share price pulling back by around 6%. Instead of panicking, I decided to collect some shares and average up my position, as I see the significant pullback as a potential opportunity rather than a reason to exit. From a technical perspective, I was expecting some rebound once the share price touched its EMA50 trendline support. That was the level I was watching closely, so I was comfortable adding gradually rather than trying to time the exact bottom. For me, the key is to take advantage of weakness while still keeping enough cash available in case the pullback continues. However, the stock did not behave as I expected

With less than 8 days to expiry, it's about time to manage this trade out when the stock is trading higher today.  For most of the duration of this bull put spread, the price was trading in and around the stroke of $190 as it was setup at 0.45 delta.  Now that 50% of profit is achieved, and with seemingly weaker general market for the day, taking a profit seems like the better idea than chasing profit.
