As we come to the tail end of the earnings season, there are still some notable names to take note such as NVDA, LOW and HD. I think Berkshire decision to trim their stock portfolio is based on uncertainty in the market. Before Trump took control of the office, I was going to inject new funds into my brokerage account, in a bid to increase my capital to make more trades.

However, I changed my mind as I anticipate the votality and uncertainty in the market, which is clearly represented in recent times. I keep my cash components in money market funds, short term bonds and high interest savings account for liquidity, so that at any point of time when the market shows signs of entry, I could transfer funds easily.

Another crucial point is to have some form of countermeasure or hedge component in your portfolio. I allocate a small portion of my portfolio (5-10%) to gold, bonds and BTC. All these will counteract in case there is a massive crash in the stock market.

So always watch your risk exposure before gunning for the profits. Make sure you create a huge safety net, have your countermeasures in place to set you up for success.[Love you]
