Tesla Faces Critical Test Ahead of Earnings

$Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ earnings is on April 22 (this Tuesday) right after market closes at 4pm EST.

The DESCENDING TRIANGLE pattern set-up here explains it all. It could easily destroy the company.

3 things to focus on and I'm sharing this play for TSLA earnings:

1. Robotaxi Launch: TSLA plans to initiate its first commercial robotaxi network in Austin by June 2025.

Optimus Robot: Updates on the development of the Optimus humanoid robot are anticipated, with discussions on scaling production.

Affordable Model Y: Production of a more affordable Model Y to begin in mid-2025.

2. In Q1 2025, TSLA delivered 336,681 vehicles, which is a 13% decrease from 2024. Production for Q1 was 362,615 vehicles. Analyst expectations were higher, with some predicting between 360,000 and 370,000 deliveries. So we know delivery and production numbers are down this Q1.

3. Elon Musk supporting Trump has alienated some existing and potential customers. On Mar 11, Trump promised to buy a new TSLA in a TV commercial-style appearance with Musk.

Analyst are split on where the stock could go in 2025. JPM sees a 51% plummet to $120, while Wedbush it could more than double to $550 this year.
