I’m watching Adobe $ADBE get absolutely smacked today, now -4.5% to $334.29, and it’s dragging the software complex with it as $WDAY and $INTU slide in sympathy. This is not noise. This is volatility asserting control and forcing rotation.

On the charts, the message is unmissable. The recent rally was rejected cleanly at the 200DMA resistance. On the 4H and 30m views, price smashed through the mid Keltner, accelerated into the lower volatility bands, and printed a textbook liquidity flush. Wide ranges, heavy red candles, urgency everywhere. Flow flipped hard, structure broke fast, and weak positioning got punished.

Zooming out, the disconnect sharpens. $ADBE is now -24% y/y and nearly -30% over five years, keeping sentiment deeply compressed. Yet earnings are up almost 30%. At the same time, the stock is sitting at its lowest valuation in a decade. Price has completely detached from fundamentals, and that mismatch rarely lasts.

The speed of the downside and the way price interacts with the lower bands raises the risk of a developing bear trap if support stabilises and momentum starts rotating back into trend.

If volatility compresses, structure realigns, and flow turns constructive, $ADBE has a credible path to be one of the strongest performers into the second half of 2026.
