I believe there will be a pull back, nothing short of groundbreaking performance (not huge planned spending mind you...) can satisfy the market.
SanDisk Drops on Its S&P 100 Inclusion Date — Is Memory Shifting Gears?
The S&P 100 rebalance took effect Sept 21, and SanDisk fell 1.41% to $1,766.64 — after a 10.99% jump the prior session, when index funds finished buying. The rest of the memory sector rose: Micron +2.77% to $1,043.96, SK Hynix +0.73% to $188.86. With the index bid spent, the sector trades on product pricing again. Bulls say the thesis is intact — capacity and prices stay tight, as Micron and SK Hynix show. Bears say SanDisk's index-driven leg had no earnings behind it and now needs a fundamental anchor from an elevated base. Same day, opposite moves — whose signal do you trust?
