Nasdaq Hits Record High — Which Chip Stocks Are Being Left Behind?
The Nasdaq Composite closed at a record and chips ran a fifth straight session, but the winners changed hands. Arm +17.16% to $322.90, Intel +12.14% to $121.78, AMD +9.95% to $615.52 - while Nvidia added 2.30% to $227.38 and Broadcom 1.60% to $362.66. QQQ closed at $741.47, the S&P 500 +1.49% to 7,764.70. The read is that Meta's Muse assistant points agentic AI toward CPUs and general-purpose compute, not stacked GPUs; Arm's CEO called demand off the charts. Oil and yields both fell, which usually lifts the longest-duration names. Those are the two that finished last. Rotation, or a headline?
