I watched the breakdancing. And as an Australian, I'm disappointed by our performance. I know 50 other non professional break dancers who could have competed and done will at least scoring points. I have enjoyed the gymnastics though.

$Nike(NKE)$ $Coca-Cola(KO)$  The Olympic Games have proven to be a goldmine for Nike, significantly boosting brand visibility and driving sales. Didn’t watch it but we all know that he got bronze and is the 6th Singaporean to ever win an Olympic medal and the youngest ever. Congrats to him for being the youngest Singaporean athlete to get a Olympic medal!

The following are some interesting points for advertisers and sponsors of the Olympic based on research papers in https://www.academia.edu 1. Olympic Advertisers Outperforming the S&P 500 Index: - A study found that Olympic advertisers tend to outperform the S&P 500 Index in the four-week window around the Games. This suggests that being associated with the Olympics can positively impact stock performance. 2. Specific Companies as Olympic Sponsors: - Some companies have been long-standing Olympic sponsors. For instance: - Coca-Cola: Their century-long partnership with the Olympic Games has been successful. They often release limited-edition products and packaging to celebrate the Games. - Cisco Systems, Panasonic, etc: These companies have been involved in various capacities as

🏅 A Wholesome Olympic Moment: Zhou Yaqin Joins Italy’s Podium Celebration! 🇨🇳🇮🇹 The Paris Olympics have wrapped up, but the memories and moments of sportsmanship continue to inspire. One such moment that has captured the hearts of many is China's Zhou Yaqin joining Italy’s gymnastics team on the podium during their medal celebration. After the competition, as Italy’s Alice D’Amato and Manila Esposito celebrated their victory by biting their medals—a traditional gesture—Zhou Yaqin couldn’t resist joining in the fun. She mimicked their actions, creating a light-hearted and wholesome scene that embodies the true spirit of the Olympics: unity, respect, and shared joy beyond borders. This little act of camaraderie is a beautiful reminder that even in the heat of competition, there's room for fr

I have been watching every races of his. Last night, he made a mistake of drifting too far away from the starting point for the only race yesterday. Hence tonight, when he was drifting away, I was talking to myself “come back, come back!”. Then when he finally came back, he was like being squeeze out of the starting point for 1st race. Suddenly, he changed into a smaller kite for the 2nd race. He gave the reason it was the fast wind speed that caused him to change into a smaller kite. But thereafter, the wind speed slows down.😱😓😭 [Cry] I can feel his sadness of not securing gold for us based on the duration he hugged his mother [Comfort][Comfort]and I think his mother must have whispered encouraging words to him. In addition, it took him some time to come back shore. I felt he needs some

Watching the Kiwis with great interest! we are only a little NATION that always gives our very best! Unfortunately, we don't have the sports funding that other big countries do. WatchEd the opening ceremony, a shame about the rain, they weren't lucky with the weather! ☔️💧🌧️ 195 Kiwis in 22 sports.  New Zealand is forecast to finish 16th equal alongside Denmark and Turkey with a total of 14 medals. That would consist of four golds, four silvers and six bronzes, Gracenote predicted. If the forecast is correct, it would fall short of the record 20 medals won at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. At the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro the Kiwis brought home 18 medals. Go KIWIS!🥝

🇫🇷🇫🇷🇫🇷 Wish I can hop on a flight to Paris for the Olympic Games. Like the Opening Ceremony. Great to see Celine Dion dazzled after her four year health absence. That is true Olympic spirit. I love the drone show with the fireworks at the Eiffel Tower. Lady Gaga’s ostrich face show was funny to me[Happy][Happy] $Nike(NKE)$ has a “BUY” rating now. Nike is, and has been the biggest sponsor of Olympic so it will get the biggest publicity during the games. $Nike(NKE)$ share price is steady going up. Thanks @Tiger_chat

I m always interested in Badminton & Swimming. But ever since shanti pereira has done so well in Asian games, I m beginning to watch athletics. I won’t be going to Paris to watch the Olympics as I had been there 3x. Moreover, I currently don’t hold a passport. [Happy][LOL][Chuckle]. I will watch from TV and at the same time, busy tabulating my SG dividends. This week, 6 counters announced their DPU. Even though some counters decreased their DPU, I am still on track with my KPI dividends [Heart][Applaud][Chuckle][Bless][love you][Happy][Smile]

I'm beyond excited to see Maximilian Maeder, the 17-year-old Singaporean kitefoiling sensation, compete for gold at the Paris Olympics this weekend! I have goosebumps just thinking about it - this kid's talent and dedication are truly inspiring. I'm a bit nervous, too - the competition is going to be tough, and I really want him to win! But at the same time, I'm so proud of him for making it this far. He's already achieved so much at such a young age. I'm going to be on the edge of my seat, cheering him on with all my heart. Come on, Maximilian - bring home that gold!

I haven't been keeping up with the Olympics like I usually do. Max Maeder is already performing so well at 17! That's so inspiring! I should really get my little ones into some kind of training or activity... they're 4 and 2 now, it's the perfect time to start them on something. I'll look into some options this week and see what would be a good fit for them. I want to give them every opportunity to find their passion and talent. Who knows, maybe one day they'll be Olympic stars too!

Definitely not going to Paris to watch the games. Will be watching from home the ones that Singapore would be represented in especially swimming and Shanti in her runs. Not expecting any medals though…For sporting events, generally major sponsors and sports apparel companies would be in the limelight but I don’t anticipate any will have any great swings due to the games. Ultimately, the stocks will still be dependent on their earnings and any geopolitical tensions/ national policies.
