$LITERACY CAPITAL PLC(BOOK.UK)$ 📚📖 Since reading is one of the best investments you can make, I thought I would recommend one of my all-time favourite investing books, and my recommendation below is in just one sentence, albeit a long sentence 😂, because "The Little Book That Beats the Market" by Joel Greenblatt, written by the legendary value investor who founded Gotham Capital in 1985 with $7 million from junk bond king Michael Milken and then casually turned $1,000 into $40,000 with mind-bending 50%+ annual returns over a decade (even outpacing Buffett) by concentrating 80% of his capital into just 6 to 8 deep value ideas hidden in the dusty corners of the market, reveals his brilliantly simple yet devastatingly effective “Magic Formula” for

Had wanted to say "One Up on Wall Street" (but @highhand mentioned something "similar", I assume is "on" rather than "in"). The other that floats into my mind immediately is "The Intelligent Investor", also by the famous Benjamin Graham, Warren Buffett's teacher... Read a long time ago, if there's one sentence, this is a book 📚 that's about value investment, especially relevant for crazily Trump's induced chaotic time like this. When time is crazy, the last thing you want is to not understand which companies offer value, which companies are actually overrated, and end up chasing shadows. When times are tough, it's best to go

Replying to @koolgal:Thanks for sharing. Sounds good...//@koolgal:🌟🌟🌟Like a flying carpet, great books transport us to places that we have yet to discover and some even change our lives forever.  "Man's Search For Meaning" by Victor Frankl is one such inspirational book. If I were to describe this awesome book in just 1 sentence, it would be that it teaches us to be resilient through life's challenges and having a purpose in life would enable us to harness our inner strength and mental toughness to handle adversities. We are never too old to learn new things, and with the power of books, the knowledge and wisdom of others will enable us to be better human beings. Happy World's

Rethinking Wealth and Life: Reflections on "Die With Zero: Getting All You Can from Your Money and Your Life" by Bill Perkins

One book that truly shifted my perspective on money and life is Die With Zero: Getting All You Can from Your Money and Your Life by Bill Perkins. As part of my reflection, one sentence that captures the impact of the book on me is: "The book helped me see that managing money wisely also means knowing when and how to spend it to truly enjoy life." It challenged many of the conventional ideas I had absorbed about financial planning, especially the popular mantra of "save, save, invest, invest," and the pursuit of FIRE (Financial Independence, Retire Early). What stood out to me is how the book emphasizes the idea that life is not just about accumulating wealth—it's about using that wealth to create meaningful experiences while we’re still healthy enough to enjoy them. The book makes a compel
