Would You Quit Your Job After Winning a $5 Mln Jackpot?

For most people, work is about earning a salary to meet essential life needs. If you already have a lot of money, does that mean you no longer need to work and can travel around to fulfill your dreams?

Having all the money brings loads of opportunities and responsibilities. [Cool]   You can take another route to doing nothing but enjoy your money 💰.  Wouldn't it be more exciting to explore productive opportunities that your hard earn money. My personal opinion.  [Cool]   No, I would not quit my job unless i can not bring any value to the table or did not like the employment. Purchase the company and more creative ways to develop it to it maximum potential.  Ahhh what a thought!  [Miser]

Are you kidding? Of course. Unless you are really enjoying what you are doing we are exchanging our time for money. If you already have the money then why bother

5 game-changing tips for new investors: 1. Take it slow. Take time to learn the basics of investing in securities. 2. Understand your financial objectives and risk tolerance. Take time to understand whether you’re using your capital for the long term or speculation. 3. Pay attention to macro-economic indicators. Having a sense of the bigger picture allows you to understand where it may be best to deploy your capital. 4. Keep cash on the side. Markets retract —having cash when there is a buying opportunity can be critical to your success. 5. Diversify your holdings in multiple stocks or sectors. This helps you reduce the risk that one stock tanks all your investments.

No, continue to work. However, the major difference would be I am no longer dependent on the income for a living. The $5 million can be used to invest or buy properties as investment or to be a landlord. It is important to continue working to keep the brain active and also for social relationships. However, i think i will be less hesistant to quit AND move on to another job. Holding down a job can now just be for mental engagement, to learn things for fun or work entirely for passion or even work for voluntary causes. I would explore like working just part-time or more likely to go off pay for time to spend with family or travel or for pastimes. In short, just work for the benefits od working!

Quit the job. Invest the $5m for sustainable passive income. Spend more time with family & friends, do volunteer & charity work to help others. Do the things we love and spend the money wisely.

If I win 5 million I will surely quit my job. It's not that my job does not interest me it's just that having 5 mil will open up more avenues. Any job is a bit restricted in exposure and you have have to do the unsavoury bits with the savoury bits.  Part of the winning will let me venture out on my own in my field of work so I will still be able to do the things I enjoy about my job.

I will not quit my job because I love what I do. Work is not just for a paycheck, it also gives us a sense of purpose. However, if I have a $5M windfall, I will take time off to pursue other interests that are not necessarily revenue-generating!

Even after winning 5 million in lottery, I don't think I will quit my job. I still love my job, and that's also part of my hobby, to be honest. Maybe I won't work that hard, choose to work on more interesting projects, and be more relaxed.

Winning 5million in lottery just prove your luck is better, doesnt prove it can provide u with a better life for long term. Many statistics shown many lottery winner in short term has better lifestyle but less then 5% can keep the wealth for 10 years or longer . So its how to perserve or even make more money for longer term is the question after winning . . By continue working or not is also shorter term. I would first use it to make mindful changes to my family and society. Use it to buy time back tor me so i can spent my time on more quality people and opportunities. 💕💕🌹🌹😊😊 Have a wonderful weekends coming tiger family
