$SUPER MICRO COMPUTER INC(SMCI)$ FYI MU $Micron Technology(MU)$ earnings call is tomorrow the stock is worth watching because if it goes according to plan this will be a catalyst to the upside for SMCI, most likely the company will surpass target price for this quarter!!!
$NIO Inc.(NIO)$Real investors see opportunities buying stocks at silly prices from time to time.As an investor for over 40 years, NIO at 6-7 is one of life time opportunity to consider. NIO has the right management up top, unique technology, very appealing product line. None, that is one of the EV companies is close, big brands are watching and debating how to team up with the best in the EV before. MENA news is huge, I am thinking TATA can be a nice partner next !! Sitting back, getting ready for one an awesome ride !!
$Silvergate Capital(SI)$ We have seen some stabilization the past three sessions. While Thursday, March 9 short volume made up 59% of the total, by today it was down to 30%, 39% and 34% the in-between days. But that wasn't enough to raise the price at close (however the last three trading days have all seen green opens and/or intraday trades as high as $3.59, today opened in the $2.80s).It seems a corner has been turned as lower prices cannot continue to be sustained with the current percentage of short volume. Retail traders may see $SI as a hot play.
$First Republic Bank(FRC)$ It's only been a couple weeks, most people probably haven't gone and opened a new account elsewhere and changed over all their online banking, auto debits, bill pays, ordered new checks, etc. Even more pain involved for business accounts with ACH payroll and such. To the extent that money is sitting in higher yield accounts or brokerage money markets some of it may be gone unless the bank can compete on yield (given its new cost of funds, doubtful). But a considerable amount of core deposits could come back if people believe the bank has stabilized and want the convenience of using their existing FRC account.
$Faraday Future Intelligent Electric Inc.(FFIE)$ FF plans to hold a special meeting for its shareholders at the end of this month to announce plans to issue an additional 50 million to existing shareholders, which means we are already over 700 million! That's enough money to push this baby to the moon.
$NIO Inc.(NIO)$I can see the bearish guys trying hard to put lots fear so weak hand sells ,but anyone looking at chart sees that this thing will move towards 10$ within few months, day traders which try to gamble better be careful. I buy on weaknesses and Will hold since I already see what will happen in a few months.
$Sea Ltd(SE)$ I am now a little stuck with 30% of my core holdings wrapped up in SE. 2022 is a real loser in many ways, but at least some of it has started to show some bounce. I'm still waiting for SE to bounce back. For me, Sea Limited remains the best contrarian investment opportunity for an ecommerce leader.
$Meta Platforms, Inc.(META)$ We have already seen FB acquire Instagram and make it into a fantastic money tree with more growth to come. FB acquired Whatsapp, one of the dominant chat apps in the world at the moment. It may be worth looking at least 2-3 years into the future, beyond the current potential recession etc. to assess whether Meta is considered worthy of continued investment ...... Answers may vary based on different investors' views and risk tolerance etc.
$Bilibili Inc.(BILI)$ BILI is valued higher than IQ, probably due to the former's higher expected revenue growth rate and more diversified revenue streams. I have always felt that IQ is undervalued, but is BILI overvalued? BILI is expected to be close to break even by 2024. The so-called YouTube of China is trading at a fraction of the price of GOOGLE. I am not sure about the implied valuation of YouTube, but BILI also has a gaming business, and the market in China and Korea is one of great potential.
$Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing(TSM)$ Future Intel foundries will not get business critical designs from AMD or Nvidia for fear of information leaking to Intel's design group. AMD went to Samsung and ended up going back to TSMC in disgrace because Samsung could not execute high level technology, so TSMC remains the leader in the semiconductor industry. Now the question is where to put the money. ASML takes TSMC, TSMC takes AMD, Nvidia and others. Then TSM has the advantage of winning AMD and Nvidia customers by the way. Who makes the most money in the next semiconductor cycle? What is the safest bet? In my opinion, TSMC is certainly the best answer.
