Proposed terms for the listing will be made public in a later filing.For the three months ended March 31, Figma had net income of $44.9 million on revenue of $228 million, compared with profit of $13.5 million on $156 million in revenue during the same quarter last year. For the year ended Dec. 31, the company’s revenue also climbed, though it had a net loss of $732 million thanks to a surge in operating expenses, according to the filing.The filing is the latest sign some companies are pushing ahead with their listing plans this summer rather than waiting until after the US Labor Day holiday in September, now that stocks are back at record highs and first-time share sales are delivering sizable returns.Figma said in April that it had filed confidentially for an IPO. The company, which makes app design and collaboration software and boasts 13 million monthly active users, had agreed in 2022 to be acquired by Adobe Inc. for $20 billion, but the deal was called off after more than a year of regulatory scrutiny.The company reached a valuation of $12.5 billion after an investment last year by a group that included Coatue Management, Alkeon Capital Management and General Catalyst Partners, Bloomberg News reported at the time.Tuesday’s filing lists Index Ventures, Greylock Partners, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and Sequoia Capital and their affiliates among Figma’s largest shareholders. Proposed terms for the listing will be made public in a later filing.For the three months ended March 31, Figma had net income of $44.9 million on revenue of $228 million, compared with profit of $13.5 million on $156 million in revenue during the same quarter last year. For the year ended Dec. 31, the company’s revenue also climbed, though it had a net loss of $732 million thanks to a surge in operating expenses, according to the filing.The filing is the latest sign some companies are pushing ahead with their listing plans this summer rather than waiting until after the US Labor Day holiday in September, now that stocks are back at record highs and first-time share sales are delivering sizable returns.Figma said in April that it had filed confidentially for an IPO.
