From Leaders to Laggards: Is Memory Waiting on Micron? Memory gave back Tuesday's gains on Wednesday. SanDisk fell 3.73%, SK Hynix 3.12% and Micron 2.22%. The selling carried on into Thursday's pre-market, then all three bounced on Friday as oil eased after the Trump–Xi meeting. They fell together and bounced together, so this is one trade, not three. The real test is Micron's report after the close on September 30, which is about 4 AM on October 1 in Singapore. Wall Street expects $50.91 billion in revenue and $31.49 in earnings per share. Management guided about 86% gross margin, but also said price increases are moderating. The quarter also has 14 weeks, one more than usual. Bull case: 16 take-or-pay contracts lock in about $100 billion through 2030. HBM4 has already shipped over $1 bil

$Meta Platforms, Inc.(META)$   $META Ran 30%+ in September. I'm Selling the $680 Put, Not Chasing the Stock Meta was the loudest name in my feed all month, and for good reason. Muse, its personal AI assistant, launched on Sept 8 and climbed to the top of the US App Store's free charts. Connect 2026 then showed Muse running hands-free on the new Ray-Ban and Oakley glasses. The stock went from the mid-$550s in late August to a 52-week high of $779.82 last Thursday. Piper Sandler, TD Cowen and Canaccord all raised targets this week, into the $865-$950 range. Then Friday reminded everyone that nothing goes up in a straight line. META closed at $751.66, down 3.3% on the day, and slipped another few dollars after hours. I don't want to buy a stock

Palantir: "Not Really an AI Company" — and Why That Matters EdgeRunner AI's CEO put it well: Palantir is "an incredible data architecture company." EdgeRunner is the camshaft and Palantir is the engine block. The models plug into Palantir's plumbing, so Palantir doesn't need to win the model race. Bull case The Pentagon made Maven a program of record, and users grew from 5,000 to 20,000. The Army enterprise deal is worth up to $10 billion over a decade. Full-year revenue is expected to reach about $8.19 billion, up 83%. Bear case The stock trades at about 120 times forward earnings. Maven is under scrutiny after the February 28 Minab strike review. Palantir says it wasn't responsible for the underlying intelligence. If models move to devices that work offline, some of the value moves with

10-Year at a 2007 High, VIX Under 15: Why I'm Selling Fewer Puts Right Now Most of my feed this week was about the 10-year, and fair enough. On Thursday the yield hit its highest level since June 2007, and the 30-year is now sitting near 5.49%, the highest since 2004. Then stocks went and closed the week green anyway. The S&P 500 and Nasdaq both posted weekly gains, and the Dow snapped a three-week losing streak. I've been running a sell-put / Wheel strategy on US stocks for over five years. This is one of those weeks where the numbers are telling me to do less, not more. Here's how I'm reading it. Quick recap Sept 16: Fed hiked 25 bps in a 12-0 vote, to 3.75%-4.00%. First hike since 2023. The dot plot showed most officials expecting at least one more hike this year. Sept 23: hot S&

Grateful for an incredible run this year — 148% rate of return, ranking in the top 1% of Tiger Brokers users. 💪 Traded across 3.04M SGD in total value with 20 positions — and yes, NVIDIA was the star performer with USD 14,398 profit. 🚀 This isn’t just about the numbers — it’s about staying disciplined, doing the homework, and trusting the process. Every trade is a lesson. 📈 #TradingJourney #InvestSmart #TigerBrokers #NVIDIA #StockMarket #ConsistencyPays
Nasdaq at a record. How many stocks are actually driving it? A breadth check through my sell-put lens Written Wednesday morning SGT, using Tuesday's US close. The headline On Monday, the Nasdaq Composite gained 2.26% for a record close of 27,122.09, its first since June. It did it again on Tuesday: the tech-heavy index gained 0.45% to 27,244.28, while the S&P 500 closed relatively flat at 7,764.64. The Nasdaq-100 crossed the 30,000 level on September 21. That's what the index did. The stocks inside it tell a different story. The breadth data On Monday, the S&P 500 had seven new 52-week highs and 24 new lows. On the Nasdaq, there were 64 new 52-week highs and 127 new lows. Put simply, the index jumped while about twice as many Nasdaq stocks hit fresh 52-week lows as highs. It goes d
Stocks to Watch Today: Nasdaq at a record, VIX under 15, and a Micron earnings wall. How I'm running my sell puts into it Written Wednesday morning SGT, using Tuesday's US close. Where we stand The market has had a strong start to the week. On Monday the Nasdaq Composite rose 2.26% and posted a record closing high for the first time since June 2, while the S&P 500 gained 1.49%, just shy of its record. Tuesday was quieter. The Nasdaq gained 0.5% to close at a record 27244, while the S&P 500 finished flat and the Dow shed 185 points. (Bilyonaryo) (TRADING ECONOMICS) Two numbers matter most for anyone selling premium. First, volatility. Even after that rally, the CBOE Volatility Index (VIX) was up 0.41% to 14.87. A VIX under 15 means option buyers are paying very little for protection

$PLTR 20251205 170.0 PUT$   Win from Selling PLTR Puts – 60% Gain Realized Post: I’ve been selling cash-secured puts on PLTR, and this trade just crossed a 60.39% unrealized profit. Contract: PLTR Put Strike: $170 Expiry: Dec 2025 Cost Basis: 6.99 Current: 2.77 This is a long-dated put I sold when premiums were high. The idea was simple: I’m comfortable owning PLTR at a lower price if assigned If it doesn’t drop to my strike, I keep the premium Either outcome is acceptable This trade has worked out well so far because volatility contracted and the stock moved up, reducing the option’s value.
Three Markets, One Rulebook: How I Sell Volatility SPY closed almost flat at 767.40. A calm index often hides big moves in individual stocks, and that's where option sellers get paid. I've run the Wheel for over five years. The idea is simple: Sell a put and collect premium. If assigned, sell covered calls above my cost. When the shares get called away, start again. How I match the tool to the market Bullish: I sell puts on pullbacks, but only on stocks above their 200-day moving average. Delta stays between 0.15 and 0.25. Sideways: This is the best regime for sellers. Time decay does the work, and if I'm assigned, covered calls keep collecting. Bearish: I stop opening new puts. If the 200-day breaks, the trade fails my rules, however rich the premium looks. If you hold stock into a risky
Muse takes a cut per transaction. Whose front door does it touch? My ranking, and how I'm trading the fallout with sell puts Written Thursday, 24 Sept (SGT), using Wednesday's US close. What Meta actually announced Meta Connect opened on Wednesday with $1,299 VR glasses, camera-free smart glasses, and the first real answer to the question everyone has been asking about Muse: how does it make money? The answer is a toll. Meta says Muse will be free for a large number of tokens, and over time it expects to profit by taking a small fee on transactions. It hasn't said how big the fee is. There's also a subscription layer, with monthly plans from $20 to $100 above a free option. The plumbing is already in place: Payments and checkout: Stripe handles the payment rails, Shop Pay covers Shopify's
