I opened 4 lot(s) $YINN 20240419 18.0 PUT$  ,At the money with around 1 week to go. Since at the money option gives the most efficient premiums. Decided to not wait and just roll for premium. This is opening of new puts, roll out to 1 more month to capture time premium.

It boils down to fundamentals. If the stock is trading 50-60% below valuation, it doesnt matter, as in the long run, there will be reversion to the mean. I am already used to holding stocks that trade 50-60% from purchase price. Will usually average down to bring down the cost. Overtime, they usually recover. However, there is a mark difference between 50% drop and 5x drop of 10%. 50% drop has a high probability of structural issues within the stock, as usually stocks with strong fundamentals even if they drop is in series of bad news. Structural issues will be very difficult to recover, as it implies damage to the fundamentals of the company. A review of the position will be urgently required.

It is sometimes very tough to understand what does musk think. He can say this, turn around say another. There's already too much drama on this twitte episode. He has orchestrated it in a way that he is trying to decide if he should buy, when he has already bought. Leading his fans on to pile into twitter. Then came about the board issue, he was offered a position, then he rejected. After that, He just announce that he will offer a buy over. In between, he does not need to put a cent in, to have his twitter shares gain value. Ya ya, world richest man, doesn't need that small change. That small change may be small change to him, but may not be so for his "friends", who knows what will he be doing before he announces the action. If we are talking about overall portfolio hedging, there are several ways to do so.1. Bonds Bonds usually are not as volatile as stocks and are supposed to act as anchors. Salaries are just amounts paid for employees for their contribution/work to the company. However, if we just look at it from this point of view. There's no real meaning.  Companies can choose to pay their admin staff $2000 per month or $10000 per month. It's just dollar value.  Overpaying employees will increase expense and decrease companies' profits. Hence, what matters to investors is more of operating margins. What's more crucial is how much $ contribution is gained/ per $ spent on employee. Eg. Employee who can earn $2 for the company while the company pays him $1, is worth the salary. Wanted to convert the position to short baba as the abritage is lesser than I close it as short call options.  Wanted to exit the position just before baba earnings as earnings will push up options premiums due to higher volatility.  Will take the chance to convert the short position back to short call option pre earnings

$Direxion Daily Small Cap Bear 3X Shares(TZA)$  sharing for coins. Made use of the reversal to add on to TZA.  Previous positions in TZA were using short puts, which although used lesser margin and proportionally better returns, it doesn't protect my bullish positions that well.
