@MHh:A strong SGD affects daily life as it helps to reduce importing inflation. A strong currency also allows us to get greater bang for the buck when we travel overseas especially to neighbouring Malaysia for grocery, shopping and food. It also helps us investors when we buy non-SG stocks like the US and HK stocks. I definitely will not put my market in fixed deposit as it cannot even match inflation. Investing through Tiger brokers or using Tiger vault is definitely the wiser option, especially in the longer run. @Universe宇宙 @Wayneqq @HelenJanet @Success88
The hardest thing to predict in the stock market is whether to buy or sell. Most of the local stocks are down so should I buy or will it go down further? So hard to predict! @Nick2862 @TigerWire But i do hope to predict correctly that tiger_wire will gibe me more coins for this comments
@koolgal:I opened 1.0 share(s) $Global X Nasdaq 100 Covered Call ETF(QYLD)$ ,🌟🌟🌟QYLD has a laser focus on providing dividend income through a Covered Call Strategy in which it buys stocks in the Nasdaq 100 Index and "writes" or "sells" corresponding call options on the same index. The current dividend yield is 12.94%. The best part is that Dividends are paid every month. QYLD goes ex dividend on April 21. How good is that! 😍😍😍🌈🌈🌈💰💰💰 @TigerClub @CaptainTiger @Tiger_comments @TigerStars &nb
@Terra Incognita:I opened 1 lot(s) $GILD 20250425 105.0 PUT$ ,GILD: collect 1.45% premium for this cash secured put with strike at $105 Contract expires in 4 weeks on 25th April. Strike is near recent low and should provide some support. Testing out new trade ideas with this one.
@Terra Incognita:I opened 1 lot(s) $PLTR 20250411 80.0 PUT$ ,PLTR: collect 3% premium for this cash secured put with strike at $80. Contract expires in 2 weeks in 11th April. PLTR seems to find temporary support at $80 and then $75. Willing to accumulate at this level so will start selling puts until assignment. Software based companies are more resilience against tariffs and most of PLTR revenues are from the government and US customers anyway so impact is minimal on coming Tariffs trade war.
@koolgal:I opened 1.0 share(s) $Global X Nasdaq 100 Covered Call ETF(QYLD)$ ,🌟🌟🌟When the markets are down, QYLD brings me much comfort with its nice, juicy dividends paid every month. The current dividend yield is 12.1%. QYLD does this really well by using a Covered Call Strategy on the Nasdaq 100 Index which is normally the domain of big institutions and expert traders. In fact QYLD is a pioneer in this strategy. QYLD has been so successful that it has been paying dividends 11 years in a row. I certainly look forward to collecting my next dividend in April as QYLD goes ex dividend on April 21. How good is that! 😍😍😍🌈🌈🌈💰💰💰 @CaptainTiger
@Barcode:🗓️📈📈📈📉📉📉📉 $SPDR Dow Jones Industrial Average ETF Trust(DIA)$$SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust(SPY)$$Invesco QQQ(QQQ)$ Historically, April hands us a bounce, but don’t get too comfortable. By late April to early May, recession signals will hit with precision, following a well-worn pattern. That drop is not just a dip, it is a dive that will extend through to October. I’lll be selling into strength & flipping short as we shift into May. For more detail, , check out my $DIA post from earlier today. Wishing you precision entries, strong momentum & profits that trail higher. Happy positioning and trading ahead. Cheers, BC 🍀🍀🍀
@Success88:Why did the investor bring a ladder to the stock market on April 1st ? Because they heard the market was going through the roof… and they wanted to see if it was just another "bull" trap! Happy April Fool's Day—may your portfolio be foolproof! 📈😂
@MHh:A nervous investor calls his broker. "My portfolio is doing terribly! Everything is down!" The broker says, "Relax, sir. Think of it like a rollercoaster. You have to go down before you can..." The investor interrupts, "Yeah, but this rollercoaster seems to be missing the 'going back up' part and just keeps digging a hole down!" @Success88 @Fenger1188 @HelenJanet @Wayneqq @Kaixiang @DiAngel @SPOT_ON
@koolgal:🌟🌟🌟President Donald Trump announced today that he was "just kidding" about tariffs, and the American public needs to get a sense of humour". He also said that "What sort of idiot would intentionally crash the world economy?" Is that true or is it an April Fool's joke? I leave you to guess. 😁😁😁 @Tiger_SG @CaptainTiger @Tiger_comments @TigerStars
I always played alot of April's Fool jokes on my colleagues and friends and it has never backfired on me. But i wondered if the joke on me when I sold my$ST Engineering(S63.SI)$ I know it has been bullish lately and the dividend is coming soon. Oh well what is done cannot be undone! @Tiger_SG@TigerWire@Tiger_comments
