flyExclusive, Inc. shares rocketed 137% after the company revealed it had entered into an authorized dealership pact with Starlink (STRLK), designating it as a certified dealer and installer for Starlink's high-speed, low-latency aviation connectivity system.
Under this agreement, flyExclusive will commence installing Starlink technology across its own fleet, a move anticipated to elevate the in-flight experience by providing streaming-quality internet, real-time communications, and reliable VPN performance at high altitudes. Furthermore, in its capacity as an authorized dealer and installer, flyExclusive will extend Starlink sales, installation, and support services to other aircraft owners and operators, thereby augmenting the company's expanding Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) capabilities.
The company emphasized that with flyExclusive serving as an authorized Starlink dealer and installer, private aircraft owners gain access to comprehensive turnkey provisioning, expert installation, rigorous testing, and continuous support—all through a single, reliable partner.
"Connectivity has transitioned from a luxury to a fundamental component of the passenger experience," stated Matt Lesmeister, Chief Operating Officer of flyExclusive. He added, "Our new role as a Starlink aviation dealer not only bolsters our MRO capabilities but also sets a new standard for our entire fleet. This enables us to provide the connectivity our customers expect and offers external operators a swift, dependable route to upgrade their aircraft via an established MRO partner."
Starlink (STRLK) is owned and operated by the aerospace firm SpaceX.
