Hong Kong stocks closed lower on Tuesday. The global forecast for the Asian markets is murky amid a cloudy outlook for interest rates.
The Hang Seng Index dropped 0.2%, while the Hang Seng Technology Index fell 0.7%.
In terms of star stocks, Leapmotor rose 8%; Tencent rose 0.9%; NIO rose 0.8%; while East Buy fell 21%; Laopu Gold fell 5%; SMIC fell 3%; Li Auto, CATL, and XPeng fell 2%; Pop Mart, NetEase, Xiaomi, and Mixue Group fell 1%.
