    When you drive a second-tier EV in China, you will have to explin why you could not afford a Tesla. When you drive a Tesla, you are the most sought after person

    TSLA is still the most sought after car. People in China wants the best and Tesla is considered the prime sought after; they do not wan to be seen in a seond-class car

    The trend continues with sales falling. Not just in China but with much of the rest of the world, including their biggest US state, California.  Now with the EV tax incentive credits being removed, Tesla will surely be seeing greater margin erosions too. Not helped by Trump's tariffs on steel and aluminium, of which Tesla imports plenty of.
