US House measure to end shutdown wins enough votes to advance, voting continues

WASHINGTON, Nov 12 (Reuters) - A majority of the U.S. House of Representatives on Wednesday voted to advance legislation to end a record-long, 43-day shutdown of the federal government, as voting continued.
