Chasen's Profit Slips in Fiscal H2; Shares Surge 11%

Chasen (SGX:5NV) booked a 1% decline in its profit in the fiscal second half ended March 31 of SG$6.4 million, from a profit of SG$6.5 million a year earlier, according to a Thursday filing with the Singapore Exchange.
Earnings per share slid to SG$0.0168 from SG$0.0181 in the year-ago period.
Revenue jumped 20% year over year to SG$67.8 million from SG$56.6 million.
Shares of the global integrated logistics service provider zoomed over 11% in recent trade.
