BeOne Medicines' Potential Chemotherapy-Free Lymphoma Treatment Meets Primary Endpoint in Phase 3 Study

MT Newswires Live06-30 18:40

BeOne Medicines' (ONC) Brukinsa met its primary endpoint of progression-free survival in a phase 3 study evaluating the drug as a potential treatment in combination with rituximab for mantle cell lymphoma, the company said Tuesday.

The chemotherapy-free drug combination showed "a highly statistically significant and clinically meaningful improvement" versus standard of care, the company said.

The safety profile was consistent with that of both medicines, the company said.

Mantle cell lymphoma is a rare and typically aggressive type of B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma, mostly affecting older adults, the company said.
