Singapore's Manufacturing Output Growth Slows in June

Singapore's manufacturing output increased 7.2% year over year in June, slowing from a revised 17.8% increase in May, according to data released by the Singapore Economic Development Board on Monday.
The growth missed the 9% increase forecast tracked by Trading Economics.
Manufacturing output fell 7.2% month over month, reversing the revised 6.9% increase in May. The month-over-month reading also missed the 0.4% increase forecast by Trading Economics.
Electronics, precision engineering and transport engineering led output growth, while general manufacturing, biomedical manufacturing and chemicals contracted.
