Trump: Gov. Hochul sides with Canada

President Donald Trump posted on X on August 28, criticizing New York Governor Kathy Hochul for siding with Canada, calling her "weak and ineffective." Trump accused Canada of "ripping us off for decades on Trade and Tariffs" and said Hochul opposes using the name "Lake America," preferring Canada to win.

"Stupid Governor Kathy Hochul, who doesn’t care about New York State, has announced that she is on the side of Canada, which has been ripping us off for decades on Trade and Tariffs," Trump wrote. He added that Hochul allows other countries and states to take advantage of New York, which is treated like "garbage."

Trump endorsed Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman for governor, describing him as "an animal" who "fights like hell" and will lower taxes and stop crime. "VOTE FOR BRUCE BLAKEMAN!" Trump concluded.
