President Donald Trump on September 3 criticized the Missouri Supreme Court's ruling to change the electoral maps back to their previous form, calling it "ridiculous, horrible, and unconstitutional."
In a post on X, Trump said the ruling requires maps to revert to a configuration from "a long time ago," which he described as "Ancient History." He cited legal scholars who argue that not only is the ruling flawed, but there is insufficient time to implement the change before the upcoming election. Trump asserted that the election process is being "disturbed" in America and that Missouri must be allowed to use the map that was in effect just months ago during the primary.
"This is a Dark Day for 'Justice' in Missouri!" Trump wrote, urging attention to the matter.
