President Donald Trump on September 1 posted on X, endorsing former news anchor Ryan Elijah for the U.S. House of Representatives in Florida's 7th Congressional District. Trump described Elijah as an "America First Patriot" who possesses "the Wisdom and Courage required to confront the Corrupt Fake News."
Trump also strongly criticized Elijah's opponent, Democrat Bale Dalton, calling him a "Radical Left Democrat" who opposes "NO TAX ON TIPS, NO TAX ON OVERTIME, and NO TAX ON SOCIAL SECURITY." Trump accused Dalton of supporting "massive Tax Increases, Open Borders, Men playing in Women’s Sports, and Transgender Mutilization of your Children." Trump wrote: "Bale Dalton is Reckless, Radical, and Dangerous!"
According to Trump, Elijah as the next congressman will "fight tirelessly to Grow our Economy, Cut Taxes and Regulations, Unleash American Energy DOMINANCE, Promote MADE IN THE U.S.A., Strengthen our Brave Military/Veterans, Keep our Border SECURE, Safeguard our Elections, and Protect our always under siege Second Amendment." Trump concluded: "Ryan Elijah has my Complete and Total Endorsement to be the next Representative from Florida’s 7th Congressional District — HE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN!"
