Trump's Truth Social latest posts09-02

President Donald Trump announced on X on September 1 that he has approved $9.1 million in federal funding for storm recovery in Kentucky, specifically for severe storms, winds, flooding, landslides, and mudslides. In a post, Trump stated he informed Andy Barr, who is running for the U.S. Senate from Kentucky, of the approval.

"I just informed Andy Barr, who is running to be the next Senator from the incredible Commonwealth of Kentucky, that I am approving 9.1 Million Dollars for severe storms, winds, flooding, landslides, and mudslides, that they are recovering from. The Great People of Kentucky are resilient, smart, and tough, and I am with them all the way. Vote for Andy Barr — He has my Complete and Total Endorsement, and he will never let you down!" Trump wrote.

The funding is intended to support recovery efforts in the state, which has been hit by multiple natural disasters. Trump's endorsement of Barr, a Republican candidate, is seen as a significant boost to his campaign for the Senate seat.
