Trump's Truth Social latest posts09-02

President Donald J. Trump announced on September 1 that he is sending $50.5 million to assist recovery efforts in Texas following severe storms, winds, tornadoes, and flooding.

In a post on social media platform X, Trump stated he had informed Governor Greg Abbott of the decision, reiterating his "Complete and Total Endorsement" for Abbott's re-election. "Texas is a special place, and I will be back soon to support Governor Abbott, Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick, Ken Paxton for U.S. Senate, and the entire ticket of Republican Candidates, who have my Complete and Total Endorsement," Trump wrote.

The funding is designated for recovery from the recent extreme weather that struck Texas, including severe storms, winds, tornadoes, and flooding. Trump emphasized the assistance would support the state's recovery efforts.
