On September 1, U.S. President Donald Trump announced on social media platform X his endorsement of Scott Singer for the U.S. House of Representatives from Florida's 25th Congressional District, while criticizing incumbent Jared Moskowitz as reckless and dangerous.
Trump described Singer as an "America First Patriot" and a "Proven Leader" who served as the highly respected mayor of Boca Raton and a successful businessman. He accused Moskowitz of voting against "NO TAX ON TIPS, NO TAX ON OVERTIME, and NO TAX ON SOCIAL SECURITY" and claimed that Moskowitz supports "massive Tax Increases, Open Borders, Men playing in Women’s Sports, and Transgender for Everybody." Trump wrote: "Jared Moskowitz is Reckless, Radical, and Dangerous!"
In contrast, Trump said Singer, as the next congressman, would work hard to "Grow the Economy, Cut Taxes and Regulations, Promote MADE IN THE U.S.A., Unleash American Energy DOMINANCE, Keep our Border SECURE, Stop Migrant Crime, Strengthen our Brave Military/Veterans, and Protect our always under siege Second Amendment." Trump concluded: "Scott Singer has my Complete and Total Endorsement to be the next Representative from Florida’s 25th Congressional District — HE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN!"
