President Donald Trump posted on X on September 1, formally endorsing America First Patriot Casey Askar, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and successful businessman, for Florida's 22nd Congressional District. Trump described Askar as a "WINNER" and pledged he would work to grow the economy, cut taxes, unleash American energy dominance, strengthen the military and veterans, secure the border, advance election integrity, and defend the Second Amendment.
Trump also sharply criticized Askar's opponent, Democrat Pia Dandiya, accusing her of opposing "NO TAX ON TIPS, NO TAX ON OVERTIME, and NO TAX ON SOCIAL SECURITY" and supporting massive tax increases, open borders, men playing in women's sports, and "Transgender Mutilization of your Children." He called Dandiya "Reckless, Radical, and Dangerous."
"Casey Askar has my Complete and Total Endorsement to be the next Representative from Florida’s 22nd Congressional District — HE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN!" Trump wrote. Askar's campaign is centered on promoting Made in the U.S.A., energy independence, and election integrity.
