Pan Ocean Signs KRW148 Billion Oil Tanker Charter with Trafigura

Pan Ocean (KRX:028670) signed a 148.2 billion won long-term charter contract with Trafigura Maritime Logistics for a very large crude carrier, according to a Monday regulatory filing.
The charter will run for at least 36 months from Dec. 1, 2026, with an option to extend it to 39 months. The vessel will transport crude oil on routes worldwide, including the Middle East and Asia.
The contract value, based on the minimum 36-month period, may change depending on exchange rates and the actual charter period.
The stock rose nearly 2% in recent trade.
