Ramelius Resources (ASX:RMS) secured a key environmental approval for its Roe Project, with the Western Australia Department of Water and Environmental Regulation granting a works approval under part V of the Environmental Protection Act, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
The company can now progress development, with Rebecca fully approved and only routine Mining Act approvals remaining for Roe, including tendering for the process plant engineering, procurement and construction package and advancing early works such as roads, camp, airstrip and borefields, per the filing.
The milestone provides greater certainty for accelerating development and supports the company's four-year outlook of around 600,000 ounces of annual gold production by 2030, the filing added.
