China has agreed to import at least 10 million tons of coal annually from the US in 2027 and in 2028, according to a White House fact sheet detailing outcomes from the recent summit between US President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping.
As part of the broader agreement reached in Washington, the two countries also agreed to pursue more favorable tariff treatments on roughly $30 billion worth of non-sensitive goods in each direction.
