Orica (ASX:ORI) secured ammonium nitrate supplies for its contracted North American customers for fiscal 2027 through US producers, higher output at its Carseland plant in Canada, and its broader supply network, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
The company expects no material impact on fiscal 2027 margins despite higher sourcing costs, supported by logistics optimization, cost-saving initiatives, and customer arrangements, while the acquisition of Nelson Brothers further strengthens its North American supply infrastructure, per the filing.
Additionally, the company said the sale of surplus land at Deer Park, Victoria, will extend beyond fiscal 2026 due to changing market conditions, with the delay having no impact on its underlying operations, the filing added.
The company's shares rose past 2% in recent Monday trade.
