EcoGraf Secures Korean Patent for Purification Technology; Shares Down 5%

EcoGraf (ASX:EGR) secured a a patent for its first EcoGraf HFfree battery graphite purification technology from the Government of The Republic of Korea, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
The patent numbered 10-3017983 covers the use of the technology across various applications relating to the manufacture of battery anode material, high purity graphite products, conductivity enhanced material and the recycling of lithium-ion battery anodes, the filing said.
The patent has a 20-year term expiring on May 14, 2041, per the filing.
Shares fell 5% in morning trade Monday.
