Bumita Agri (SGX:P8Z) has communicated its commitment to voluntarily engage, at its own cost, assessors from the Singapore government in connection with fires in Indonesia, according to a Monday filing.
The palm oil plantation company said the engagement follows a notice issued by the city-state's National Environment Agency under the Transboundary Haze Pollution Act.
The company will cooperate with the assessors, the filing said.
